This work was completed within an occupied and operational doctor’s office. Utilizing a phased approach working predominantly nights and weekends, the scope of this project generally consisted of the complete interior demolition of existing medical office space; installation of new structural steel to facilitate large openings in masonry walls; saw cutting and removing large sections of existing masonry walls and
a large amount of concrete for new plumbing; raising the slab level of approximately 1/3 of the building to adjoin with the adjacent slab for ADA purposes; construction of a new waiting room; new exam rooms; new break room; new bathrooms; a new nursing station; and a new lab. All finishes were Class A medical office finishes and all areas received new custom built casework.
